Because when I saw my Grandma I could feel right away That nowhere could I wander from the palace of her heart Nowhere could I feel as though I have lost my way. Cause she'd pause to figure out for sure if it was my or dad's hello she heard I liked it when my folks were out because then it was up to me To ask her how she's doing and tell her how things have been. She always had such graceful writing, she always wrote the kindest words Separated by east and west but never far away Never further than the cards that preceded every birthday. The way she loved her family and the way she never let Her guiding light be dimmed. Yes, she always led the way Her light remains yet still somehow I feel so lost today Though nothing can truly be the same The song in her heart will ever sustain And fill our lives with love. So far that she seems far away Cause her light remains to show the way To her palace up above. More Memories |
